Visit the Hill 2010

Almost 40 college admissions professionals, secondary counselors and their students took the opportunity through Visit the Hill 2010 to learn, and speak out about, issues such as financial access and societal access to higher education. Both are key to building a talented Iowa workforce.

During Visit the Hill, guest presenters provided the necessary training and information participants needed to help lobby for issues critical to the interests of students transitioning from high school to college. After lunch with other attendees and legislators, they headed to the State Capitol to lobby with  Iowa Representatives and Senators.
