President's Welcome

Welcome to Iowa ACAC—Iowa’s leading organization to assist students during their transition to postsecondary education. As an organization, our members work conscientiously and ethically to ensure students receive a positive and productive experience throughout the recruitment process and transition to postsecondary education.
Our organization provides many opportunities for professional development and serves as a vital resource for families and educational professionals. Events such as college fairs, Visit the Hill, the R.I.D.E., Admissions Counselor University (ACU), Support Staff Workshop, and the annual spring conference provide opportunities for networking, engagement and professional growth. Our resources include the online membership center, high school directory, listserv and the quarterly Scenes newsletter, that allows our members to keep each other informed and showcase the work of our organization.
Iowa ACAC is an organization built by our members and ran by dedicated volunteers. Whether it’s serving on the Executive Board, as a committee member or an organizer of a college fair, the success of our programs and the Association cannot occur without our committed volunteers. Thank you for your service. Furthermore, we are always looking for members to volunteer and get involved with the Association and would invite you to complete the Lend-a-Hand form to become involved with Iowa ACAC.
