2013-2014 College Fair Schedule

The Iowa ACAC College Day/College Night program provides a supportive environment for students to obtain information and appropriate counseling that is helpful in their college selection process. Participation in the program is limited to universities and colleges, community colleges, technical colleges, trade schools, national military organizations and non-profit postsecondary planning services.

Currently, registration costs are as follows:

  • One Fair - In-State or Out-of-State - $175
  • Two-Five (2-5) Fairs - $350 - In-State Participating Organizations
  • More than five (5) Fairs - $400 - In-State Based Participating Organizations
  • Two-five (2-5) Fairs - $500 - Out-of-State Based Participating Organizations
  • More than five (5) Fairs - $600 Out-of-State Participating Organizations

AN INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP TO IOWA ACAC IS INCLUDED WITH ALL COLLEGE DAY/NIGHT REGISTRATIONS! THIS INCLUDES ALL ADMISSION OFFICE PERSONNEL. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE EVERYONE'S NAMES ON THE FORM WHERE NOTED.

Iowa ACAC uses the College Fair Automation barcode and scanner system to expedite the exchange of information between students and colleges. This process allows students the opportunity to register online prior to the event(s). A barcode is generated with all their profile information, which they bring to the fairs. Colleges are equipped with a scanner to capture the student data, allowing you to have more meaningful conversation with students. The information gathered is then sent to your office in an Excel spreadsheet.

  • * Scanners are shipped directly to your admissions office prior to the start of travel season.
  • * You are supplied a return shipment label to ship the scanner(s) back when you have completed your fair circuit.
  • * The scanner package includes software and a USB cable for you to upload your leads as often as you like, offering quick turnaround of leads for you to begin follow up efforts.
  • * Leads will automatically be sent for processing, returning to your email inbox within 24-48 hours.
  • * View the student information that will be collected at the following website www.iowacollegefairs.com.
  • * Scanner packages are priced according to the number of students you expect to scan, so you may customize the way you use the system.
